Until people wake up to the fact that what is happening is a sickness that's spiritual in nature, we will not be able to recover. Great civilizations were driven by a deep adoration for the divine. It decorated the streets, the buildings, the museums and galleries. It's a presence you feel as soon as you enter the area. It overcomes you. It doesn't need to be explained, it's simply understood that the civilization that created all of this beauty is powerful. We inately connect this beauty with raw power. And that's what's been stolen from us. That's why every city is blank concrete with no personality. No flare. That's why every museum is full of grotesque things, or literally blank blue canvas, bits of garbage, whatever else. It's why statues are abstract and meaningless. They want to push you away from it, because without it you will forget who and what you truly are.
