Climate models are used for weather forecasting. They are not correct two weeks out. Yet we are told they are mostly correct 100 years to a thousand years in the future. It's not even plausible.

Those are weather models like GFS and NAM. Those are not climate models.

Forecasting does in fact use climate simulations. That doesn't mean all forecasting does. Most forecasting pushing more than a week into the future, generally does use climate models.
