The City Council of Cuiabá (MT) approved on Tuesday (21) in first vote a bill that creates the day of Straight Pride in the city. Authored by Councilman Bolsonarista Lieutenant Colonel Paccola (citizenship), the project only received a vote against.
According to the PL, the date should be celebrated every year on the third Sunday of the month of December.
In the first vote, the text received 15 yes votes, 8 absences and 1 No vote, that of Councilwoman Edna Sampaio (PT). The second vote was scheduled for Yesterday (22) in an extraordinary session, but the text was withdrawn from voting by Councilman Adevair Cabral (PTB), who asked for View (longer time to analyze the proposal).
"Now it will only be voted definitively next year," said the UOL Council of the chamber.
Homosexuality is "cultural Marxism"
On his social networks, Paccola justified the project by stating that he decided to introduce it after talking with his son and nephews, when it would have been "revealed that in school to participate in certain groups [students] had to kiss boys and girls".
"The main goal behind this project is that they do not destroy the traditional family model, the conservative Christian values and the feeling of patriotic civility that are the strongest marks of us conservatives," he says.
According to the parliamentarian, after a period of persecution and condemnation, homosexuals began to be tolerated, accepted and have their civil rights recognized.
"However we are seeing a very strong movement of this forced activism that tries to bring a clear obligation for our young people and children to have an incentive to bisexual behavior," he said, attributing homosexuality to "cultural Marxism."
"We are witnessing a restructuring that starts from cultural Marxism, Gramsci, which tries to destroy the traditional family model, the one written in the Bible," he says in reference to the philosophers Karl Marx and Antonio Francesco Gramsci.
"I have nothing against, quite the contrary, I have friends in the first direct contact who are homosexuals, I have nothing against", said the councilman, who completed. "Science is a family with chromosome XX and XY."
"Straight Pride Day for what?"
Only Councilwoman to vote against the proposal, the PT Edna Sampaio also said in social network that "there is nothing to be proud of, since Brazil is the country that kills most LGBTQIA+ people in the world".
"There is a straight supremacy, as if it were a crime to be LGBTQIA+. What is pride in a world where a person who is not straight is killed for not having a straight orientation?", question.
Who suffers sexual orientation violence? Who is expelled from home for his guidance? What can be approached with violence in the street? He's not the Straight Guy."
