Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced that women who have four children would never have to pay income tax again on Sunday.

Orban unveiled this offer as a part of a seven-part plan during his annual “State of the Nation” speech on Sunday.

“I hereby announce that women who have given birth to and raised a minimum of four children will be exempt from the payment of personal income tax for the rest of their lives,” Orban said near the end of his speech.

A ran this past a friend in Hungary. It's 3 year old news, and it's supposed to help mom but raising four kids in a country with 33% inflation and their currency is worth 400:1 compared to ours. Raising 4 kids is very hard and not paying just one of the many taxes there is hardly a drop in a bucket

Thank's for the research you did on this news. It's really sad, that decent hard working people, who are trying to do the right thing by their families, are having to struggle so much. Let's hope enough people in the world wake up to the truth, about what's really happening in this world to cause such financial carnage, and in time, to reverse the momentum of the cabal's sick vision of the future. A future that is ideal for them, and dystopian for us.

I wanna go to the homeland. My great grandfather was from Budapest. Orphaned at a young age. Taken in by the Amish a little while. Spent years finding his siblings. Worked factories, including parts on golden gate bridge. Loved cheep beer and cigars. Lived till 96. Laughing in his death bed saying, "I'm ready to go".

I would imagine self interest comes into play. Mortgage forgiveness would make more sense to be beneficial to the man as well, but it is extremely front loaded because the kids could be born within 3-8 years. By promising income tax forgiveness spreads the program "cost" over a lifetime which can be mitigated through inflation rather than enhanced by it, unless the woman managed to have 4 kids then still attains a career of such demand the wages track above inflation.
