Keen said that when she questioned whether it’s a crime to be untoward about pedophiles, the police officers told her that it’s not a crime but “the person was offended” and the incident has been recorded as a “hate crime.”
If I am offended by something you said, depending on what it is I can have you thrown in jail. Got it.
Additionally, Keen claimed that the police officers told her they hadn’t even watched the video that was the subject of the complaint.
That makes sense. What she said or did is not the issue. The issue is someone was offended by her. If the police can prove that they can arrest her.
I’m not sure why they showed up to her house if they were not going to arrest her. Perhaps they wanted to threaten her with arrest to keep her in line.
