Buying filters for all the turbines is super expensive and the margins are insanely thin. Really the only assholes making money off the sales are the ceos and the faggot developers aka sales scumbags. Everyone else just barely makes shit.
If it made sense, you wouldn't have to encourage people through subsidies etc to use it.
I examine every wind farm for oil stains running down the masts when I drive by. Many of these sites are contamination hot spots by now.
It appears that the operators are on to this and are no doubt using even worse chemicals to make the machine masts appear clean. The emulsified oils from washing will probably facilitate fugitive waste oil transport through ground and surface water.
