I think that is why Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau reacted so strongly to the trucker protests. They were too organized and entrenched to ignore. It wasn’t a large march that was over in ~12 hours. The media couldn’t simply ignore a one day event that only a few people in one area of a city even saw. It had a weeks long build up of the convoy rolling across the country followed by weeks of non stop protest day after day. For once they had to react. Protests like these ones in Europe are large, but still brief and ignorable. I wish them the best, but I don’t have high hopes.
