To replace the Bundeswehr's old Tornados, the U.S. F-35 fighter jets are to be purchased.

The defense policy spokesman for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, Florian Hahn (CSU), told the Deutsche Presse-Agentur: "The troops and all of Germany can only be ashamed of this new information.

The question is whether there is incompetence or intent behind it." Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht (SPD) had never identified with the change of era proclaimed by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), he said.

"My recommendation to the chancellor would be - Change the minister before it is too late!"

According to unconfirmed information, the last of these weapons in Germany are in special bunkers in Büchel.

The F-35 is considered the most modern fighter aircraft in the world

This is fundamentally incorrect and thusly, I fundamentally disagree with it.

F-35 is for lack of a better term, useless, in most every way beyond its exterior; notwithstanding the folks in charge of it (speaking to the OEM side of the house here).

Let them eat cake.
