I don’t know how often Reuters bothers to report on solar activity, but their article doesn’t raise any alarms. It talks about solar flares in general, but the only clear prediction it makes for these ones is deteriorated short wave communications.

You could be right. Even though the Reuters article is calm, the headline says “powerful solar flare activity” so maybe they’re trying to plant the idea that something bad could happen. It could just be a typical click‐bait headline though.
