That perimeter could be pushed back, but I don't think this would be a good target anyways. Much easier to get causalities simply running people over on the sidewalk during lunch time in a big city.

*The international airport by me has a big fence with razor wire on it. That is probably enough to stop trouble, and it won't make airplanes explode if they run into it.

This was a -800 which looks like it's been flying since 1997. This is on the low-cost airline that had it's DEI employees maintaining it.
