If you have a desktop, right click and inspect is the best way to fuck around. It allows you to see and edit the HTML / CSS in real time. W3schools.com Css-tricks.com Try them first. Also try to keep away from "browser-prefixed" styling (shit won't always work everywhere). I am unsure about a template; there is /s/CSS sub here...they may be able to point you in a better direction.
