oh, i am not curious about psychedelics, i hav etake everything and even too much. yet now that i dont do it anymore, i realize that all the drugs wanted to teach me was that the right way of living was without drugs. kinda strange i know, but... its like: sometimes you have to eat junk-food in order to realize that its better to eat plain potatoes and veggis and meat. you know, like... people who are disconnected from reality have to experience intense things to make them feel reconnected to reality, yet, someone who hasnt lost his connection to the souls of the world, why would he take dangerous drugs to reconnect himself, if he want separated in the first place???
maybe thats soemthing you could tell your cousins... you dont hav eto take the medicine, because you arent sick... psychedelic drugs are only ,eant to reconnect us with our ancestors, IF we have lost the connection. You hav not lost the connection to your ancestors, so you dont have to take drugs,..
on the other hand: you learn somethin erstime you get in touch with the other side, nobody is perfect, and being in connection with your tribe might be more important than being an individual...
i just wish my country had more traditions than beer and bratwurst... XP
Indeed. You do a thing because it seems pleasant and interesting at the time just to discover it makes you feel shittier later on or is otherwise detrimental in some way. Then you learn and grow and become a better man.
Yes, indeed! Maybe they're super handy to reconnect to spiritual stuff you've disconnected yourself from, but at what cost? Perhaps it's an acceptable cost for the shaman type, but that is not me, so I leave it to him because he's the professional at this sort of thing. Also he is weird.
I liked shrooms. I kind of miss those. I might eat mushrooms again someday if I find some really good ones.
Beer and bratwurst is fucking GREAT, though. Also sauerkraut. And potatoes. Man, we had the awesomest German restaurant right down the street which was always one of our family favourites since I was a little kid. Of course they're out of business now, thanks to this bullshit lockdown nonsense. I hope they somehow come back someday; their Sunday brunch was especially delightful.
