It's true, my wife says the same thing. I'm pretty senior here.
But my boss is in another country and I seldom see or talk to him. He doesn't give a fuck. If I were from actual India rather than being an American indian, he might pay more attention. He is the one who keeps giving me 1% raises, and I;m the dumb faggot who keeps not quitting, even though more responsibility keeps getting dumped on my without recompense. It's my damned fault now, and I damned well know it. That's probably what makes it so galling.
On the other hand, when they lose me, they'll lose A LOT. Whatever. Literal "sabotage" is a thing.
