Hooters closes over 30 restaurants suddenly, company calls it 'difficult decision' (www.aol.com)

How are there any of those left?

I used to work with a guy who had a goal...on his 40th birthday, he was going to go to Hooters. Guy was a total redneck horndog, the kind of guy that named his kids things like "Billy Lee."

I don't know if he ever made it there (doubtful, for all his bluster he was as cheap as could be,) and all of the ones on the East and Central sides of Ohio closed. I did run across one of his kids on LinkedIn, guy goes by the name "William" instead of "Billy Lee."

How is any still open? They've all been forced to hire fat, green-haired orgresses as servers. Horny redneck guys don't want to see that.

A breastaurant is a restaurant that requires female waiting staff to be dressed skimpily. The term dates from the early 1990s after restaurant chain Hooters opened in the United States. The format has since been adopted by other restaurants, including Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, Twin Peaks, Ojos Locos, Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill, The WingHouse Bar & Grill, Redneck Heaven, and Bombshells Bar & Grill.

No idea. I can't say I've ever had the desire to step foot in one of those. If I'm going to go to a restaurant, I'm going for the food - not the boobies.

I went to a Hooters when it first opened. (I was in my early 20s and single.) I also went years later to a local knock-off with some dorks from work. It was embarrassing to watch them drool over the girls.

Yeah, guy in my story would have been drooling on himself had he made it to hooters.
