Finally got my hands on some Cynar.

1 1/2 rye whiskey 3/4 sweet vermouth 1/2 Cynar

Stir with ice and drink the damn thing

I call it Chy-Nar, because I refuse to accept the Italians imperialism of the English language.

On a serious note, no bartender would ever know to call this a little Italy.

If you want to order this, just ask for a Boulavardier, sub Cynar for the Campari

A negroni is also gin, sweet vermouth, and comparing, but they drink is actually even better with cynar subbed for Canpari.

Probably my favorite dining out cocktail, other than a few things I don't like to ask for

Comparing = Campari?
