I like these kind of cherries; not sugar-infused and the syrup is light (https://www.stonewallkitchen.com/bada-bing-cherries-300202.html)

I didn't use vanilla in my brown sugar simple syrup but I will next time.

I am making some black tea anise syrup this weekend and will find some drinks to try it in!
