Think of a long bridge. People can walk on poorly constructed but stead just by walking. One person jumps up and down creating a wave on the bridge and is no big deal. The jumping up and down wave is dispersed easily with no issue. Take two or three jumping up and down on the bridge, maybe you start to feel the bridge sake a little no problem. Now have 15+ on that same bridge jumping up and down at the same time. Eventually that bridge will take on those jumpin waves and being resonating with the jumpers.
