I knew Gary Webb. In the months before death, he was not suicidal at all. He often talked about spending time with his son, wanting to get his family back together, working on motorcycles and trying to find rare motorcycles he had always wanted. Only twice when we were hanging out did he kind of go to a dark place and described weird things that would happen. People constantly walking circles around his block, ghost phone calls where you hear clicks and then nothing, people in man baskets near power lines around his house but seemingly without tools or materials to actually accomplish any tasks.

He was a good man, who was genuinely interested in the truth. I looked into his eyes and saw the man for what he was.

Rest in peace Gary.
