Physics, people, physics. Body surface area to body mass ratio. If human beings were this tall, they would very quickly die. They probably couldn't walk. There's a reason land animals are no bigger than elephants -- they can't be, under present conditions on Earth. They would need more oxygen in the air, and greater air density, in order to live.

Even if they were this big, right, where is the benefit?

You have to eat insane amounts, which would be hard because you're fucking enormous and prey can see you coming a mile off.

Your shelter needs to be the size a castle. We've found settlements ten of thousands of years old of normal people. Where's the fuck off massive mountain dwellings?

There's been no tools found that are 3x size of anything on record.

Have to assume they're massive ass hairy men who don't need no clothes. Clothes were a neccessity for people to survive as we went into colder climates.

The bones are structurally built to walk on two legs. You would need impressively dense bones and a bombardment of wolverine effect to stand upright. Denser bones will take longer to disappear over normal bones, and yet there isn't fuckloads of giant leg bones everywhere.
