These beacons can be used to track people who are using GPS scrambling, Faraday cages for thier phones and other anti tracking tactics.

They can also create easily searchable tags for data mining.

on F-droid takes permission for your microphone while you are not actively using it. It attempts to prevent this exploit.

Heard about it long ago.

No shit, 1999 on an IRC chatroom with a bunch of young game emulator enthusiast's. One who was using Gentoo and was testing basic bots like the ones Reddit uses all the time now.

This was kinda the point of Bluetooth, picking up when random phones are nearby and then triggering an advert booth

This is probably more target specific method, I'm sure China/Biden will one day use it to follow people around

cant think of ONE think i bought because of advertising

Yeah, that's exactly why it is so effective. You don't realize how much it effects you.

I can tell you from working in an EOC during the 2020 riots that the police can watch some people's video feeds from their phones real-time.

and everything Hunter does naked or holding a glass pipe.

Like he records that stuff, he's just using the phone to watch himself and they are like, upload all that shit.

Is it true tho?

Various conference room software uses it to "easily" connect

It definitely true that the tech exists and works. You can never prove that it is being used. But if it exists why would they not use it? They are either using it, or have something even more powerful at thier disposal.

The military always is 5-10 years ahead of what we think they have.

5-10? Try 20-30.

The F117 stealth fighter is a perfect example. When made public in the 80’s everyone said “wow”.

But the first prototype was built in the late 60’s/early 70’s.

How long until they subliminally send the message straight to your cerebral cortex?

How do you get morpheous to unplug you from the matrix?

I did some work years ago using electroencephalography with eye trackers to optimize brand and advertisement feedback. Looked at where that's at now ... wow, try doing a search for "synthetic telepathy".

No hairbrained conspiracy theories needed: your phones have always done this with GPS which is far superior to what he's describing.

In fact, I don't even think this is being used by Big Tech (might be used by some shitty tech companies trying to seem cool and futuristic, though) because its so much crappier than just knowing where you are within 6 feet at any given moment.

Why do people believe this shit?
