To be fair, grieving people do sometimes smile or laugh especially when they are nervous because it's a release of pent up emotion - just like nervous laughter can seem odd at a funeral. There is lots of questionable stuff about this case but a person's facial expressions are weak evidence of anything.

It's more like the fact hes essentially caught on a hot camera. His demeanor changes instantly exactly how an actor behaves. A normal human would just be themselves. There wouldn't be an instant switchover when they notice a camera on even though it already was.
