You have to check the labels for everything. I knew about the frozen fish products for a while (even those that say U.S. caught can be processed in China). But I was surprised to discover that most frozen apple juice concentrate comes from there, which is weird because there are plenty of apples grown in the States. Many specialty canned veggies come from there (water chestnuts, baby corn, mushrooms, etc.) so you have to look for one that is a product of Thailand instead. Dried fruits are another one.

Don't forget garlic and ginger, damn near all of it comes from China.
