I scrolled through /new and there are at least 50 glowie accounts that never post, but suddenly introduced themselves.

We can assume this is because they needed to scrape NSFW flagged posts.

There's at least one intelligence agency surveilling this place and trying to archive everything, probably to use as evidence later.

That's terrorism. We're supposed to have the first amendment, but how can you market the site to new users when there is a literal army of jackboots intimidating you and scraping all of your data?

This country is too far gone to save. Traitors are in power.

If they are tracking when and what individual accounts post, they probably don't like blind spots. It's about metadata, e.g. user X posted at 11:45:34 07/31/2023 GMT, 12:42:56 07/31/2023 GMT in these subs, and then analyzing those patterns to figure out their hours of activity and likely locations from post content, etc. If they see groups of accounts with similar patterns, that's probably sock puppets, but they can pretend it is a "militant group" and justify another 50 million in taxpayer money, that sort of bullshit.

Remember, they can compare this metadata to the info they get for free from jewgle and nosebook, and if they see the exact same timeframes, they can start to deanonymize you. If you do something really stupid like post an obscure link on poal, and then post it on nosebook 2 minutes later, they've probably narrowed you down to a handful of possible individuals. One or two more stupid obscure link posts and they've got you.

I really hope everyone here is using a VPN, because if they do that and get the IP's and fingerprints from nosebook/jewgle, they've got you. They probably are trying to hack poal itself, or service providers, to get at IP addresses, fingerprints, etc.

Motivation 1 is more budget and wasting taxpayer money.

Motivation 2 is throwing people in jail for whatever reason they can make up.
