It has been revealed the fact that
Anyone else notice the quality of writing in a lot of web articles has really gone down in the last few years?
Most likely it's translated from another language or written by someone with ESL but it lowers my trust in what's being said. There's so much fakery on the internet that even a poorly worded sentence makes me wonder what the real aim of the piece is.
Even though this article confirms my beliefs it reads like it was written by Chinese AI, but then again I'm probably expecting too much from people who were likely educated after 9/11
It's AI
One reason I don’t trust things from non native speakers as much is because there is a greater chance they are from a corrupt country and have no problem doing whatever they need to to get money from you.
They don’t care if the content they are sharing is well edited, researched, or verified. All they care about is getting viewers or followers they can monetize.
I knew someone from Russia who operated like this. The last time I talked to him he had messaged me out of nowhere to post some fake customer reviews for him because he could only post one review from the same IP address. He was doing online promotion for some business It did not bother him for a moment that what he was doing was scumbag behaviour.
Those are mild scenarios. This attitude goes all the way to typical phone and credit card scammers. Those are mostly non native English speakers too.
In their mind the world is every man for himself.
