I do not doubt that they would avoid injecting the prime minister and his wife, but those injections may have been done awkwardly because it was being recorded for national television. They may have told the nurse to stay out of the way so that the camera could see everything and that’s why she didn’t lean over and use her other hand to landmark. Barely anyone was aspirating the needles during injections. There is a UK doctor on YouTube who was complaining about this repeatedly. Justin and Sophie forgetting to squeeze their own hand during the injection could have been just another thing they weren’t told to do because so much was going on in the room at the time. These injections could have been fake. They might have used fake, retracting needles that are for training. They could also have injected them with saline here. There is no way to know for certain and it doesn’t matter. What matters is that Justin did everything he could get away with to force those shots on the rest of us and has so far suffered barely any consequences.
