Kirlian photography (making pictures using high voltage) does not capture the "aura" of a living organism. You can make Kirlian photographs from non-living, man-made objects that look the same as a biological "auras". The photographic method has everything to do with the distribution of the high voltage plasma potential of the object and nothing to do with mysticism. It's physics not metaphysics.
