Pex is way fucking easier than copper and most copper in florida is shit because of the hard water.

Water flow in pipe without turbulence is laminar, aka, straight.

Municipalities have to run the water at certain ph to avoid corroding their own pipes. If they can corrode your copper pipes, that 60 yr old cast iron water line going through the busiest part of town that would cost millions to replace would also corrode. They cannot afford to do that.

The chemicals they add are to make you retarded, not destry your plumbing.

As an engineer with a dozen books on the shelf for this subject alone, this video is actually retarded.

I do want to state that I'd rather have copper piping in my house but at a certain point compromises have to be made. The biggest thing you can do is find a house on well water to avoid the issue all together.

Well water ftw, absolutely. Good earthing from copper piping is also a plus imho but getting pretty rare these days.
