Yes, but the list of things I must do to my car in order to keep the government out creeps. Already, I need to disconnect the cellular antenna built into most cars. Now you'll need to disconnect the audio output of this speed sensor. What next?

Well. I do agree entirely. I drive a 20 year old vehicle and I have added a new head unit that has things like the backup cam and etc.. But I control all of it. It has no way to talk to the world that I don't allow it to.

I don't like "new" cars for a lot of reasons. What you are saying is one of them.

Oh, not sure if you were being ironic about the in-car cam thing about "tired or drunk" but they are trying to pass a law right now to do exactly that.

I was being serious. I understand Volvo has already developed such a dystopian system. I won't buy a car with that.
