Today is my wife's birthday. So I made her a cake from scratch like I do every year. This year I tempered white chocolate and coated a life size cake mold. Then I made a compote of strawberries, blackberries and raspberries/mixed in a glaze....mostly raspberries. Once the glaze mix was added I baked a lemon raspberry cake from scratch, as well as a lemon cream cheese frosting. Then I cut the cake to fit in the shape of the skull and sealed the back with white chocolate. The skull needed cracked open to get to the cake. Creating a ghoulishly delicious treat. I'm surprised there isn't a baking sub so I placed this in cooking. If I can figure out how to remove sounds from my video I'll post a video of it being cracked open.
