The woman usually does the cooking but she got held up in traffic and asked me to cook. No sweat!!

I browned a good pound of hamburger and put a load of Montreal steak seasoning in there. Then some garlic powder and basil.

I added a small can of tomato paste and a small block of cream cheese and got it all mixed together. Then 3 cups of water and most of a bag of large elbow macaroni. Leave it to simmer, throw some croissants into the oven and go check Poal.

Here is where I stumble on post earlier about the Hungarian Goulash.

Back out to the kitchen to add Paprika.

Best thing about telling the little woman, "No problem.", throwing together a quick dinner, and making it look easy?

It completely removes their right to bitch about how hard making dinner is.

"Really, Dear? It takes me, like, five or ten minutes. I don't see the problem."

(BTW, making the Hungarian Goulash tonight. Thinking about mixing in some venison I have left over.)

As someone else suggested, use non-ground beef... Had a few more suggestions at bottom of post, but was working with what I had
