yup. they clip on one of your fingers and you get a little screen that displays heart rate and oxygen level, and a historic (past >5 minutes) chart of the levels.
No, not that, I mean the ones on watches. What use would you have for that?
the apple watch is one of the best (most medically accurate) heart monitoring devices & software you can buy for home use. yes fitness bands claim to count heart rate or whatever. apple watch can record a medically correct EKG graph that you can send to your doctor. and importantly, its actually quite accurate from the reviews i've seen. for sure apple watch is spendy and may be trendy. there are good reasons to consider one if the goal is best in class heart monitoring or sleep cycle monitoring. they're working on a glucose sensor that doesn't require a blood draw. that would be of tremendous interest to many.
