It's kinda like how old people know the technology of their day inside-and-out, but are completely lost with something that was invented sometime in their 50s. That's why a boomer can be a savant when fixing a car, yet have their day completely ruined while trying to download a torrent on their smartphone. The "youngin's" will forever be millennials, because that's all they know. They sorta lose count, after that.
