I've been watching the Russian casualties on the battlefield.

The Russians have lost dozens of aircraft to anti-aircraft fire, including stingers taking down helicopters.

The Russians have also lost hundreds of tanks and other armored vehicles. Maybe upwards to 1500 by now.

The worst appears to be these new Turkish drones, which are used to target refueling trucks in the middle of armored formations, destroying not only the fuel truck, but also half a dozen or more of the vehicles around the truck. There are clusters of these destroyed vehicles up and down the highways of South Eastern Ukraine.

The question of the effectiveness of drones on the modern battlefield has been settled. They are deadly as hell, and well worth the money.

All of that said, The sheer size and number of the Russian formations invading Ukraine has overwhelmed Ukrainian defenses to such an extent that the losses the Russians have incurred are irrelevant to the final outcome. Perhaps if the Ukrainians had 5000 more drones, perhaps not.

50,000 more javelin missiles is only going to piss off the Russians that much more. The majority of these missiles are only going to be captured by the Russians anyways. They already know that. Their secret is speed. They are bypassing points of resistance, surrounding them, and hammering them with artillery rockets after the fact. They have already surrounded the majority of the Ukrainian military, and those surrounded forces are now going to die. Send all the missiles you want, they cannot be saved.

It's Stalingrad 2.0 and NATO is the rescue force than isn't going to save the sixth army.

The truth is the Russians have already lost an equivalent number of armored vehicles simply because they abandoned them when they ran out of fuel, or the drivers fucked up and ran off of the road. They are left where they stop, fully load except for gas, free for any taker. Without the fuel they are about as useful as tits on a bull.

The Russians are using zerg rush tactics, and the Ukrainians have run out of time. They've already lost the war. If they don't surrender soon, they will lose the peace as well.
