Appeasement: works every time lol
wtf, here we go boys
Fuck
Yep.
That being said we don't owe Taiwan shit. The bad thing is this makes China more powerful. This puts them in control of the worlds microchip supply. Hopefully some patriotic Taiwanese destroy those factories on the way out. It would do humanity a favor.
Yeah, this effects every protection racket relationship we have around the world.
The jew takes a shit.
well, war with china, and the fucking jews that started it all
well, it could be "true", meaning that USA wants
- to sell as much weapons as possible
- mess up china as much as possible
if you just focus on the two above .... you can kind of "forget" taiwan independence
right ?
This is a reset back to the decades old "Taiwan is China's domestic policy". It seems that the neocons gave up on invading China this year - the Ukraine debacle showed them that the military is not ready for industrial warfare.
We had better destroy those TSMC fabs ... or TSMC needs to move all of their equipment and base of operations to the west. I don't think there is time to accomplish that.
We have plans against the wishes of Taiwan to blow them all. But I am willing to bet they have shit stashed. Only a fool woukd leave their future in the hands of this country.
For the neocons, Taiwan is just a tool like the Ukraine. Lindsay Graham: "They'll fight to the last man against China". We know how that worked for the Ukrainians.
For Taiwan, the traditional solution worked best: They do their own thing economically and China does the foreign policy for both.
The moment the TSMC factories in the US go online, the neocons will destroy the factories in Taiwan. They want the US to become the sole center of chip technology again. But they underestimate China, China has all the young scientists and engineers needed to make their own factories in no time.
China has all the young scientists and engineers needed to make their own factories in no time.
in no time.
Why has China been unable to produce good small geometry silicon chips to date? The best they have done is to produce large geometry chips equivalent to about 30 years behind leading edge tech today. They have had many excellent engineers graduate from the USA and other parts of the world over the past 3 decades, yet they can't seem to replicate the technology.
There is a tremendous challenge to brining up a small geometry fab. Multiple years are required to bring up a new state of the art fab even if you have the technology and experts to create it.
So if China takes Taiwan, then the our lovely gov will stop import of chips to hasten the decline into equity.
Fabless design houses contract TSMC to make their wafers. They may also sub out packaging and test. Some us fabs will use TSMC as a spare fab if demand exceeds the capacity of their own fab.
If TSMC goes into communist hands, many of our fabless design houses will have nowhere to make their products and companies with fabs may only be capable of the throughput of their existing fab. Also, China will have their designs, reticules, everything they need to make many of our most advanced devices.
