And I'm not saying exclusive reliance on russia or the US is good... But cornering yourself into exclusive reliance on islamic countries for energy, like europe did, it can't be good. When there's no alternative, no redundancy, no competition essentially, a monopoly, especially when it comes to energy it's doomed to devolve into a slave master relationship... This can't be good.
