I will say this. I've been seeing a LOT of articles lately speaking about hypothetical warp drives and weapons that utilize exotic matter that has "negative energy". I have no clue what that means, but it would not surprise me in the least if they have some engineered matter that has crazy properties that would seem crazy to us. Hell: if they found a way to produce anti matter en masse it would be an absolute game changer. This is all hypothetical of course. But it is interesting how much it's being talked about given that it supposedly doesn't exist.
