I love this, my dead grandma's AK-47 needed selling and man do I want to avoid federal pound me in the ass prison, Super helpful! 100% admin aproved.
I am not a lawyer, just someone that enjoys guns, take any claim as merely opinion, do the research yourself
So, you got some bills coming up and your dead grandma's AK-47 needs to go up for sale to keep your hookers happy.
You MUST understand the laws to make sure you don't get sent to a pound me in the ass prison for the rest of your life.
- All firearms must be shipped to a FFL within the users state
- The user or dealer must send said copy of dealer's FFL license to the seller
- The user should look over the FFL copy to make sure it is not expired and to see if said license is valid
- When shipping the firearm include a copy of their FFL within the package
- Don't ship items that are banned in the state you are shipping it to (ie. 30rd mags to CA, CO, MA, etc.)
If you are dealing in person, it is up to the users to know and understand their state and local laws regarding such transaction. I would highly suggest dealing at a gun shop to avoid any potential issues and to make sure everything is done properly.
DO NOT make, build, flip, or trade firearms with the sole intention of selling these items. You MUST hold a valid FFL to be able to do that. At that point you are either acting as a dealer or manufacturer, the ATF will shoot your doggo if they catch wind of that.
Shipping
General
- All carriers prevent shipping ammo with a firearm so if some nigger steals it from a facility they can't shoot up their neighbor who owes them 10 cents
- Double check the shippers policy to make sure you ship it correctly
Pistols
- If shipping via USPS a FFL must ship the pistol for you (cheapest and best option)
- If shipping through FedEx or UPS the pistol must ship next day air to comply with their internal regulations (put in place to stop theft, also VERY expensive)
- If shipping with FedEx or UPS you must do it at their local hub, not the UPS Store down the road from your house
Long Guns
- Any carrier can and will ship long guns without going through your FFL
- Explore the best price and convenience for your troubles
- Go to most gun stores and they should be able to give you a box to ship your firearm in
