Don't ship items that are banned in the state you are shipping it to (ie. 30rd mags to CA, CO, MA, etc.)

Why not? Show me a law that would make it illegal ... if you are not the state with the ban (so I'll presume a 30 rd mag is OK where you live).

I am not aware of any law that would give the seller any liability.

What law covers this interstate stuff? 18 USC 922 of course ... most ammo and gun parts can be shipped w/o issue to the sender.

I know many people in "10 rds or less" mag states that buy 30 rd mags. Good for them.
