One of my favorites.
I love this one, the roller coaster of death that would fling them into ovens. Those two are crazy and funny but the one below always makes me shake my head.
They supposedly had metal room/floor that they would flood with water up to their necks(I guess everyone was the same height) and then send a million volts through the metal floor killing everyone and then drain the water.
Wouldn’t it just be easier and quicker to just mist the room with some overhead sprinklers before they came in so the floor was wet and for good measure give it another misting after they were locked in and then send the million volts through the metal floor?
send in the clean up crew and mist again instead of waiting to drain and then fill to get another round of killings?
Hadn't heard that one before. All their stories are so extravagantly complicated. Those pesky Germans sure were inventive.
I remembered it slightly wrong, it’s been awhile.
:Here’s the story
The Jewish Black Book Committee, The Black Book: The Nazi Crime Against the Jewish People, Duell, Sloan and Pearce, New York, 1946, p. 313
The Belzec camp is built underground. It is an electric crematorium. There are two halls in the underground buildings. People were taken out of the railway cars into the first hall. Then they were led naked to the second hall. Here the floor resembled an enormous plate. When the crowd of men stood on it, the floor sank deep into a pool of water. The moment the men sank up to their necks, a powerful electric current of millions of volts was passed through, killing them at once. The floor rose again, and a second electric current was passed through the bodies, burning them until nothing was left of the victims save a few ashes.
10,000 thousand at a time and the electric chair magically turned into an oven and turned them to ashes afterwards. Why not skip the electrocution part and just burn them right away?
