Sounds like they took the story directly from an obscure sci-fi movie.
I knew some really nerdy guys while in the army and one time they were completely nerding out and talking about a sci-fi movie from the late 60’s early 70’s and in the movie you’d buy a VR type of device and take it home.
It was basically a movie projector in the movie but was supposed to be like VR, the person would strap on some kind of electric sex toy depending on if they were a man or woman, turn on the “VR” projector and they would never push the stop button and they’d die from exhaustion(?) from to many orgasms.

Might be, I talked to them a couple of years ago on Facebook and they couldn’t remember the movie or the conversation and thought I was wondering when such a deceive would be available lmao. Nope just curious because someone tried VR while watching porn and claimed it was like actually being in the room with the couple. But they didn’t believe me.
