I'm pretty sure the US will prey on the EU for lack of better option, either directly or indirectly, if it fails to prey on anything else, if the empire's grand schemes of world conquest keep failing to put it simply, as it is the case with the ukrainian fiasco and the sanctions on russia, who benefits in the end? https://www.forbes.com/sites/arielcohen/2022/04/27/profits-skyrocket-for-us-lng-companies/?sh=3337092d61db

>The United States is poised to become the world’s leading liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter by the year’s end. The US Energy Information Administration forecasts the country will export a whopping 12.2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) average to surpass Australia and Qatar for the top spot.

See the logic at play here? Sure the US lost "a couple of marbles" in the process but the EU is the landing mat ultimately, they're under, and that dynamic isn't going to change anytime soon IMO

If the US can't prey on any other target it will turn "anthrophagic" towards its vassal states, that's how I see it

So yeah the more SHTF on US soil, economically speaking, the more the incentives toward economic predation abroad...
