not sure about the active goats, but i look at both. Content does not normally move as fast as it is going since the q migration started. As vote picks up steam, some of reddits bad habits will start showing up. A popular post was getting ~75 votes not a week before they showed up. Now its ~400. at 400, stuff moves off the front page fast. The faster the front page moves, the easier a post can be missed, and reposting becomes almost guaranteed, along with reddit's thing of up voting reposts just to see how high on the main page it can go.
