Thanks, I didn't know that. I try using Archive.is when I can but I've found it's not very reliable. More than a few people on Voat have also said they can't view links from that website.
I don't suppose 's site has a way to preserve Youtube videos? That would be pretty handy to have.
Nope, archiving videos is something I was looking into in terms of webm, etc. however, there are few free webm/gif/mp4 hosts and fewer that allow anon upload (without account). So the prospect of such a service surviving very long is dubious at best.
Bitchute doesn't let you submit videos from links (yet?)

edit: i don't really get their archetecture. I.e how long-term these videos are. For example, videos that don't ever get watched and the original uploader isn't seeding anymore, do they somehow get seeded by other people? It's a quesiton of long-term feasibility.
