he finally says it:
This is one reason that it is clear something has to change if Voat is to ever run efficiently again. Voat is too big and has too many problems to be delegated to one man with a family and a full-time job. There are plenty of programmers on Voat who might be able to help with that side of things; Putt just needs to give them the ability to help (or at least keep the Github up to date so people can submit solutions to issues, such as this banning bug).
It's clear as hell that Putt wants Voat to die ... it's been that way for over a year when he quit doing even the most routine admin stuff. For years folks begged to help and he never even responded, or if he did, he said he was considering it, but then failed to follow through. Like so many, I gave up putting time into that place when the admin doesn't care. Now it's simply an internet backwater taken over by a thousand users I never even saw in all my time there. Sad, but that's the nature of the internet, sites come and sites go, nowhere is immune.
