I just made an account here. Why? Because the admins of voat threw me under the bus to protect their precious Qtards. I never once broke the rules of the site, instead, I spent my valuable free time protecting the site by helping people identify and eliminate subversive shills (I also submitted a lot of solid original content). The moment I started going after "leaders" in the Qcrowd, those "leaders" lobbied the site admins and had me banned.

, without warning, notification, appeal, or explanation. None of the accounts affected by this are on the official site ban list. The site is also locked down, accepting zero new accounts. AND Over the years I have made 18 accounts on voat, most with no activity, none that ever violated site rules, and only 2 of them are not locked out... that's 16 locked out accounts. and

Here's what I think this means (I recognise that I could be wrong)...... They have figured out a way to purge the site of "undesirables" in a way that will make it impossible for them to come back on a new account, and so that no one else who uses the site will know that these purged users have been secretly banned. This would allow admins to regulate and censor activity on the site in ways that are not in keeping with the site's expressed ethos, without anyone on the site knowing.

Users, myself included, have attempted to contact admins about this, looking for answers, and have received no response... doesn't look good IMO.

So, I am here. And I expect there will be many more like me as this develops. I only hope the people running Poal don't also try to pull this sort of bullshit.

I meant on Voat not here. I used to on Zophars Domain a list of users and I could sort the list as a moderator by IP address so I could see who was using a bunch of the same IP's. I'd let the cool users get away with it but the trouble makers I'd warn or disable one of the accounts usually the one they trolled with but leave a normal one. I'd also send them a PM telling them I was watching them and I didn't want to ban them but if they kept it up they were gone. I let a lot of them get away with a ton of stupid stuff and I banned like 3 people in 2 years. I left when I got shit for saying the trans operation one of the users was getting was just a permanent halloween costume. This was well before the bullshit of today started, maybe 2010 or 2008. I had and still have a huge amount of posts, I had the second highest on the site last I checked.

Voat is banning IPs news to me.

I didn't mean ban the IP. Use the IP as a tool to find dual accounts and banned people registering new accounts during their ban. It's a common use of IP addresses.

The thing was this dude wasn't gay, he still like women. He admitted being beat on by his father and how his mother stuck up for him. I think he hated being like his father aka gender and decided he wanted to be like his mother who protected him the best she can. This is not a reason to change your gender but a reason to get him arrested and see a counselor for his obvious mental emotional problems. Everyone on the forum freaked out on how could I say that. They went nuts calling me names and shit because we had to support his decision even though his decision was a form of self harm to me.
