Where I'm at, if you were to get the full unemployment amount plus the $600 kicker, you'd be making enough for a family of 4 to be not-hungry, assuming you didn't have a $2,000 mortgage payment and 2 car payments.

I think it goes to show that a lot of jobs simply aren't providing sustainable income when it comes down to the wire.

Unfortunately, due to the flat $600-a-week increase in weekly unemployment benefits included in the $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief bill, it meant some of her employees would earn more being unemployed than if they were to get their jobs back.

Sounds like universal basic income and socialism by another name.
