I think there are legitimate concerns against it, but if you really think about it, the training is minimal at best and there is no requirement to keep your skills sharp at a range. Plus criminals of course are going to carry no matter what.
I have to support based on First Amendment rights and my overall believe in small government.
I haven't heard that other states with this right are having widespread issues.
It is minimal but a lot of the CCW people take their duties fairly seriously, so even that minimal training may offer some benefit. If this were a better society, we'd probably have marksmanship in schools, but we can't do that because niggers.
If you've ever trained anyone for ccw, you'll know that 90% of them are morons. I would do scenarios with them, such as a bank robbery, and they would shoot everyone in the room. Ask them why they did it... "I thought they were all bad guys."
It shouldn't stop with schools. Every 3 months those expressing an interest should be able to report to a military or national guard range and qualify on a rifle range. Those showing proficiency would receive the ammo they used for free. Fail to qualify twice in a year either through poor shooting or failing to show up and you're cut off.
That sounds very reasonable.
