It harkens back to when medical books used pigs as examples because "Muh religions" prevented human bodies from being used as such.

I ended up reading an article about it and the argument is that we have simulators now that do the training just as good if not better. So why kill the pigs? It makes sense I guess. If people are going to be killing pigs the world should at least get bacon out of the deal.
