Up until this year downtown has been remarkable safe. This summer, I've been noticing more and more reports of violence and shootings in what some of us call "Cleveland One", the area where the money and tourists are. Cleveland is short some 230 officers and 50 supervisors. Their last police class had 9 officers. Gee, I can't imagine why people wouldn't want to be a cop! I will say that at least we don't do catch and release here like a lot of the other democrat controlled areas. I fear the city is in a downward spiral. "Cleveland Two" is bleeding over and bringing their 'enrichment' with them. You hate to see it, many such cases.
