Not only that but I was gobsmacked when these fuckers kept touting that going to 60% from 50%+1 is a strike against majority rule. Even worse, people actually fell for it!
51-49 system keeps the election rigging more realistic.

Given that issue 1 failed 43/57 means the abortion/tranny amendment they're putting on the next ballot will pass for sure.
Again, perhaps because I am not a moron like most people, I saw this as a way of preventing dumbfuckery from not being made law. Abortions for all with every 5th one getting a free sub from subway or a $25 gift card to Amazon is a good thing to ban. Maybe getting rid of the income tax here or maybe forcing deficits to be under control, etc.
The crazies are putting on the next ballot a constitutional amendment to enshrine the right to abortions and tranny-affirming care, not to ban them. Issue 1 was the conservatives' attempt to stop it.
The Ohio Right to Make Reproductive Decisions Including Abortion Initiative is on the ballot in Ohio as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 7, 2023.
The degeneracy bill is already on the ballot for November. Issue 1 had nothing to do with anything. Both sides were full of shit.
So is Ohio becoming another Illinois?
I think it is. Once the last kid is out of high school we're fucking gone. I have zero love for this state. Come to think of it I have no love for any state I have been to. It's basically what sucks the least at this point.
You're welcome to come to Missouri if you're based enough.
